I bought a lens online that was a repurposed disposable camera lens made with an attachment for my mirrorless camera. It has a fixed focal length, aperture and focus – so it really helps to replicate the ‘point-and-shoot’ fun of using a disposable camera like when I was a kid. Although, back then it was usually a limit of 27 shots per camera and then a bit of a wait whilst the film was developed.
The image quality from this lens is, of course, absolute trash. However, I feel that this adds to the feel and I have tried to lean into this in editing these images.
One summer, 2025.
